Tasmanian Tourism Awards Coaching
In 2023 East Coast Tasmania Tourism is changing the way we support and recognise outstanding Tourism Operators in our region.
Instead of the East Coast Tourism Awards, we will have two avenues of recognition at local and state level, High Achiever recognition and Coaching through the Tasmanian Tourism Awards program.
High Achievers:
Each quarter ECTT will host a networking event where we award excellence in business in four categories that recognise outstanding operators from Food and Beverage, Accommodation, Tourism Experience and Tourism Attraction Sectors.

To be awarded operators must be TICT Accredited or have completed the THA Great Customer Experience program
Tasmanian Tourism Awards Coaching program:
Up to 10 operators will received one-on-one coaching through the submission and application process to enter into the Tasmanian Tourism Awards.
Coach: Michaela Lamprey & reports to ECTT CEO
Cost: No cost for coaching – entry fee to submit award application at entrant expense
Requirements
Must be able to attend and meet all below deadlines
Must participate in all TICT lead information sessions/webinars/workshops as well as ECTT provided coaching
Must not have previously won a gold silver or bronze in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards previously (unless business has had a change of ownership)

Entrants take the time to review the goals they’ve set for their business, analyse results, identify and celebrate achievements, and uncover weaknesses. This all helps with planning for the next year, and making their business even better

Interviews Held | 27 April – 3 May |
Welcome Workshop | Friday 12 May Location TBA ECTT and ML to host a workshop with entrants welcoming them, outlining the program and providing them with a schedule of key dates. |
First Draft Due | 7 July This gives applicants 8 weeks to get a first draft together. ML will provide support to applicants leading up to this deadline |
First Draft Feedback Returned | No later than Monday 17 July |
