East Coast Tasmania Tourism (ECTT) is an incorporated Organisation which operates within the footprint of the Glamorgan Spring Bay and Break O’Day Council areas. It has operated since 2012. The Organisation sets the strategic direction for tourism in the region, identifies priorities and delivers programs that engage industry and stakeholders.

Help Shape the Future
We are seeking applications for a Chair of our dynamic Board of Directors to help shape the future of regional tourism on Tasmania’s East Coast. Our small team of highly skilled staff and Board works alongside the East Coast tourism industry, leading and driving the development of sustainable tourism and a strong visitor economy.
Funded and supported by Tourism Tasmania and our two local councils, Break O’ Day and Glamorgan Spring Bay, we work in partnership with our local industry to ensure their voice is heard, working collaboratively to achieve recognition of the industry as a key economic driver of the East Coast of Tasmania.
Our voluntary Board is skills based and is specifically looking for a Chair with experience and skills in economic and regional development, major projects, large-scale tourism operations and/or a strong background in either the tourism or hospitality industries.
The Chair is recommended by an interview panel and approved by the Board of ECTT.
